Galena Volunteer Fire Company

Joined the Company in 1982, became an active member in January 1985, Served as Vice President and 1st Lieutenant in 1987, Joined the Air Force in September 1987 and served till January 1992 at which time was a member of the Delaware Air National Guard till his retirement in December 2004.  Served as 2nd Lieutenant in 1992, Director and Deputy in 1993, Chief in 1994 and also served on the BOD.  Director and Deputy Chief in 1995, Deputy Chief 1996 till March.  Director in 1996.  Chief in 1997, 1998 and 1999  and also served on the BOD.  Deputy Chief in 2000 til July.  Chief in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 and served on the BOD during this time.  Was inducted to the Kent & Queen Anne's Volunteer Fire, EMS & Rescue Association in 2007.  Was made Chief Emeritus in February 2008.  Director in 2008, President in 2009, 2nd Assistant Chief in 2009 and 2010. Director 2010.  Chief in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 and served on the BOD during this time.  Chief of the Department - 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 and served on the BOD during this time.
